FITZPATRICK

We are off to Fitzpatrick, AL for the rest of the week to install for a client. You might remember us pulling inspiration and scheming here, which seems like eons ago, but time has flown by and we are excited that the install date has arrived.

Our client decided to build the guest house first, and next year follow up with the main home.
Not too shabby, eh?

It was also requested that we decorate for Christmas, so we have hit all of the best Christmas decor shops in town (Boutique de Noel, B.D. Jeffries, Erika Reade, to name a few...), and are armed with garland, wreaths, and champagne! So stay tuned for some progress photos from the farm.

BILL LOWE AT THE ESTATE

Yesterday Bill Lowe Gallery hosted a holiday brunch and open house at The Estate to display a number of their pieces. It is always so interesting to see how the pieces transform when placed in a space other than the gallery. Bill did a wonderful job of showcasing a significant amount of work. It was a lovely afternoon full of cocktails, artwork, and good company -

WESTSIDE WEDNESDAY

We are finally getting settled back into the office after a busy Thanksgiving holiday. We have all been on the move, wrapping up some loose ends on a number of projects, while juggling our time off with our families.

But today we stole some time to peek in to the Boutique de Noel pop-up shop next door. Le Jardin Francais floral design has a unique, European inspired holiday decor shop with everything from wreaths to ornaments to Christmas trees that will make you forget Thanksgiving quicker than you can say turkey. We couldn't resist the temptation to grab ourselves some things to get us in the holiday spirit -

Lauren's super cute poinsettia

Make sure to stop by before December 15th to pick up some fun things.

HOOD DESIGN

Yesterday we met with the blacksmith to tweak the hood design for our client's kitchen. We were excited to see the progress and finalize some details, including banding and rivets. We are using Smithworks Iron, who fabricated our custom lanterns for the showhouse, to create our custom hood. It will hopefully be installed the week of Thanksgiving, so stay tuned for the before and after shots of our kitchen design -

CUSTOM KITCHEN

The cabinets for a home renovation went in yesterday, and we are so pleased with what has been installed so far. The custom kitchen we designed is substantially larger and more functional for our client, but the built-in desk has become our favorite part so far. There is still a lot to do, but it is looking great  -

DRAPERY INSTALL

The draperies for our commercial client's space went in yesterday. Check out what a difference they make!

 war zone

We have completed this project on a tight budget, and here is a great example of some serious cost savings - this is an Ikea kitchen! Who woulda thought?
All that is left is some artwork and accessories. More to come soon.

FARMHOUSE INSTALL

The past two days we have been busy installing and organizing for a beautiful farmhouse outside of Atlanta. The architecture is so incredible that we just needed to give the main living space a face lift.

We have installed new drapery panels that are a gorgeous Holly Hunt fabric, new sofa from Bungalow, reupholstered a cool existing Italian chair in Jerry Pair leather, reupholstered an existing stool in Kyle Bunting hair on hide, slipcovered the existing dining chairs, and added a new hobbled shade in the kitchen -

Eventually we would like to replace the wing chairs with a new, fabulous chair upholstered in the Classic Cloth plaid on the sofa pillows. What do you think?
