DESIGN IS IN THE DETAILS

This week we have been detailing kitchens, wet bars, built-ins, you name it for a few clients. It's been a lot of drawing and editing, but there is so much you can do with simple details that can transform a home.

We are looking forward to hammering out all of the details for our clients in the next few weeks. We have plenty of inspiration, and we are ready to deliver an extra special space.

HAPPY FRIDAY

Last night we had 2 events to attend, and they were both wonderful. R Hughes debuted their new fabric line, Bruno Triplet, so we headed upstairs right after work to check out the new showroom display. As always, it was chic and beautiful. Those guys know how to entertain, not to mention they have fantastic taste -

After soaking in all of the fun and drinks at R Hughes, we headed over to MODA for the annual ASID meeting. Melanie has served on the board for the past year, and last night the new officers were sworn in. MODA was the perfect venue, since there was a huge turn out. It should be a great upcoming year for ASID Georgia -

MODA's current exhibit is the evolution of the skateboard. Their next exhibit is a design challenge where interior designers have been paired with a product designer to create a 10x10 vignette that showcases the product. Should be good.

Our new presidente! Shawn Alshut is very enthusiastic and motivated to make our chapter the best it can be

After all of the swearing in and news, several board members stood up to share their story of how they got to where they are -

We are proud to be apart of a great organization like ASID that connects us to other professionals. After all of this excitement, we are looking forward to the weekend. We hope everyone gets out and enjoys this fall weather!

WESTSIDE WEDNESDAY

There isn't much going on this week on the westside, but staring at the fall sun coming through the windows makes us want to throw on a scarf, grab a pumpkin-spiced latte, and enjoy the cool air.

It's the best time of the year!

GREGORIUS | PINEO

Last night Jerry Pair held a cocktail party in honor of Gregorius Pineo's new showroom display. It was a beautiful event, with the most talented people you could imagine. We had the pleasure of chatting with George Massar, creative director for Gregorius Pineo, Doug Kinsley, owner and President, and Mark Groeninger, director of national sales, as well as some of our favorite in-town designers.

This event was so inspiring and left us with our minds racing. Gregorius Pineo is one of the most sophisticated and timeless furniture lines around, every piece hand-made to order. George Massar has really taken the company to another level, and we are continually amazed by the pieces that are produced. We look forward to specifying GP in the future.

TAKIN' A BREAK

Yesterday we took a break from work to head over to one of our client's construction sites for a full-on, midday cookout courtesy of McGarrity-Garcia. It was great to have the whole project team together, and we were able to hammer out a few details while we devoured our fajitas.

it's coming along!

It is so important to stop by the project site on a consistent basis. We addressed several questions that will ultimately improve the quality of the project. We're looking forward to starting our weekly construction meetings now that framing is almost finished. We will keep you posted on the progress.

PALM BEACH PARADISE

We just returned from a whirlwind trip to Palm Beach, Florida, where we are taking inventory for a client who is selling their drop dead gorgeous property. We left our home base of Atlanta on Monday morning to jet down to sunny/stormy PB, Florida for a quick 24 hours. We had a lot to do and see in a short amount of time, so here are our highlights.

That's some house. It's a Georgian style home, built is 1961, facing the intracoastal. It is the perfect Palm Beach getaway. Amazing architecture, amazing view, amazing everything.

we could get used to this

Monday night we hit downtown West Palm Beach for some food and shopping. It was a great outdoor mall setup, with fun restaurants and a lot of activity. Of course we had to dodge the rain every 30 minutes, but we didn't care, it's Florida!

The Bellagio restaurant has their own fountain - how appropriate

Yesterday we were able to steal some time at the beach before we had to head home to our land-locked Atlanta. The ocean is always so rejuvenating, especially on a deserted Tuesday morning.

 FYI

If you haven't been to Palm Beach, you haven't lived. It is everything that you could imagine a more. Manicured lawns, manicured trees, hedges as tall as skyscrapers, people with no worries. It's incredible, just like a dream.
So we are looking forward to taking care of this client and organizing their furniture and accessories for them. It's not everyday that you have an opportunity to travel to a place like PB, and we look forward to our next great adventure.

FASHION'S NIGHT OUT

Last night we wandered over the bridge to check out the scene. It was such a great time with fun table arrangements, delicious food, and fall fashion. Enjoy some snapshots from the event -

all of the surrounding restaurants pitched in to cater and man was it good

 here come the models

there are some awesome fall pieces at G.Gilbert right now - we were dying over the accessories, vests, and boots

After we browsed G.Gilbert, we headed over to Billy Reid to see their setup. They had a band called the Quiet Hounds playing, drinks and nibbles from JCT, and 20% off merchandise. It was a great time and we may or may not have purchased a few things -

Now that football season and fall are here, we are excited to have these shops around us to pick up the necessities. We hope you have a fashionable weekend!
