Buckhead Apartment :: Work In Progress

Our most recent project is an apartment located right in the heart of Buckhead. It is next door to the St. Regis and has an amazing view of the city. We are so excited to get started!

The best part: Our client is a woman after our own hearts. She loves classic design but is not afraid to go a little dramatic and funky. I get excited just thinking about it!

Last week we brought our ideas up to the apartment so that we could go over the plan in the actual space. Here is a peek at the ideas for the living/dining area:

The bedroom will be soft and feminine with lots of texture and shades of cream, grey and purple!

 In the bathroom, we are going to bring in a fun wallpaper!

I always giggle to myself when we do things like taping samples to the wall. I feel like people think designers should just instantly know what the correct choice is. But sometimes we do it the fail-proof way... Trial and error. In this case, we covered the walls with samples and then narrowed it down to two. It might be a silly way to decide but it always helps to see the product in the actual light of the space!

Here are the choices that we've narrowed it down to: 

You cannot go wrong with Phillip Jeffereies. We love this one.. especially how it looks with the countertops and the fact that it ties into the color scheme for the living room.

But we also love the paper below! It is hot off the press and a much better price point! It even has a little bit of shimmer which is always fun!
