SNOWED IN & GETTING INSPIRED

It's a snowy, icy day here in Atlanta so we are working from home yet again. Extra thankful for warm houses and stocked pantries!! And crossing our fingers in hopes that the power stays on!

All this cold weather can't help but make us think about snuggling by a warm fire. We adore beautiful fireplaces and want to share some of our favorite designs with you.

This traditional style mantle is made more modern by painting it the same
color as the wall and adding a dark surround. I love how the detail of
the trim stands out even though it is the same shade as the walls!

Stone fireplaces are a huge trend right now and we are not complaining!
Its detailed yet simple style complements the herringbone tile perfectly.
If you're looking for a great looking stone fireplace, check out Francois & Co. It is one of  our favorite resources!

This greige and black combination has such classic lines in a modern color scheme.

"Refined Rustic" is one of our favorite styles right now.
Crisp, cream walls and dark wood beams are a lovely combination.

Scale makes such a difference when it comes to design.
This mammoth mantle is not right for every space but it is the perfect
complement to this room with beautiful vaulted ceilings.

I mean... Does it get much more perfect than this??
This picturesque design by Ferguson & Shamamian Architects
is one of my favorite outdoor fireplaces.

Here is a fireplace design we recently completed:

With detailed moulding on the ceiling and walls, its nice to keep
the fireplace simple. Strong veining in the marble surround
allows it to hold its own ground against the rest of the detailed design.

Hope all of you are surviving the storm and staying warm next to a beautiful fireplace!
