As the snowflakes started falling, we were right in the middle of installing our display at the Cathedral's Antiques Show. Not the best timing in the world. After two days being cancelled, we were finally able to put the finishing touches on our showroom. So thankful that it all worked out and the show was able to go on!
If you missed our last post, you can read about our inspiration here.
This is the photo that inspired it all:
Here are some photos of the finished product: "Annie Oakley's Outdoor Life"
(Please excuse the poor quality of my iPhone pics.)
We laid down tarps and covered them with sand and pea-gravel to offer the full experience of being out West.
Jack from Chuck's Firearms very generously loaned us all of the antique gun memorabilia including his personal Winchester .22 rifle. We were thrilled to have such beautiful and accurate pieces on display!
Many, many thanks to the wonderful vendors who let us borrow their beautiful antiques for the show: 14th Street Antiques Market, Brooks and Black Fine Art and Framing, Chuck's Firearms, E. Lawrence, Edgar Reeves, Erika Reade, The Nicholson Gallery, Moattar, and Robuck.
And a big shout out to our talented florist, John Grady Burns of Flora for his beautiful floral and succulent arrangements!
Let us know what you think about our take of Annie Oakley's Outdoor Life! We hope you enjoyed taking a step back in time.
